DESCRIPTION:FREE CONCERT supported in part by the Culver City Performing Arts Grant Program. \nProgram title: Brahms & Vaughn Williams meets Dan Brown’s Wild Symphony \nDirector: Lowell Crystal\, Music Director & Conductor & Pola Benke\, Associate Conductor \nTickets: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/wyo-spring-concert-brahms-vaughan-williams-dan-brown-free-event-tickets-610714321977 \nImportant notes:  Wild Symphony is a new composition for symphony orchestra\, but has already been performed by the Houston Symphony Orchestra\, Czech National Symphony Orchestra\, Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra\, and recorded by the Zagreb Festival Orchestra.  Westside Youth Orchestra is very excited and honored to be invited by PARMA Recordings to perform Wild Symphony\, and will be the first orchestra in California to perform Wild Symphony! \nThe author and composer\, Dan Brown said\, “ My intent with Wild Symphony is to provide a fun\, fresh opportunity for families\, parents\, children\, and people of all ages to reconnect with the magical experience of classical music”.  In the performance\, there will be a large screen behind the orchestra projecting cartoon images of each of the 21 animals featured in the book\, Wild Symphony. \n
