The award winning Westside Youth Orchestra showcases the musical achievements of its outstanding young musicians in the Los Angeles area. In 2011, at the Heritage Festivals competition in Anaheim, California, the WYO was presented with its' first Silver award. In 2012 at the Heritage Festivals competition in San Diego, California, the WYO in its' second annual participation, went on to win a Silver award, a Maestro award, and a trophy award for the most outstanding orchestra group.

Meeting weekly at the beautiful new facilities of the Cornerstone Music Conservatory, conveniently located in the center of the Westside, (Pico at Bundy) rehearsals focus on developing programs for performance.

Students of the WYO develop the highest form of musical integrity, respect for fellow colleagues, self discipline and teamwork.

Open to students between the ages of 8 to 17. An audition or teacher recommendation is required for orchestra membership.

501(c)(3), Nonprofit, Public Benefit Corporation, incorporated in the State of California.
